What is Vacation Bible School?
Vacation Bible School is a fun-filled week of summer with Bible stories, games, snacks, songs, and more that ultimately has the purpose of providing a quality outreach to K-6 grade children in our community.
What happens at Vacation Bible School?
Each day all the children meet in the auditorium for a time of worship, skits, and other fun things. After that, there is a rotation schedule of games, snacks, crafts, and Bible lessons. At the end of each day, the children meet again in a large assembly in the auditorium to wrap up the day with some more singing, announcements, and maybe a game or a skit before being dismissed for the day.
Who can come to Vacation Bible School?
Any child who has completed at least one year of school (K) may come to Vacation Bible School. We always count what grade a child has just completed when we register and place them in their classroom for Vacation Bible School.
How much does Vacation Bible School cost?
Vacation Bible School is an outreach of Greendale Baptist Church. The congregation gives all the needed resources to make Vacation Bible School possible financially. Thus, we are pleased to say that Vacation Bible School is FREE of charge to the community.
